First 2014 Nude Recreation Interview with our very own Nicky Hoffman!

33.3 N Magazine

In the words of NAC Chair and Executive Director Bob Morton,

"Welcome to a very special issue of N magazine. In addition to features you've come to anticipate each quarter, you'll find a special focus on the Naturist Action Committee and the Naturist Education Foundation."

33.3 starts out strong the moment you open the cover! From meeting the NAC board to a Fire Island National Seashore update, to College Students Speaking Up about Nude Beaches—this is one for ALL concerned naturists.

Not into naturist politics?

That's alright we have something for you! Are you a homebody nudist? Then come along with Tommy and Susi Johnson as they enjoy backyard Nude Gardening or simply enjoy Every Day Naked with Brad Garber and his wife. If travel is more your speed this issue of N will not disappoint. Visit naturist Mexico or travel as far away as South Africa. For even more adventure visit Liguria Italy where the sun is warm and the people cool, and if the sun isn't your thing how about adding Nude Ice Fishing to the bucket list.

Just Beachin'

If you're like me and you love the (nude) beach, make plans to pick up this issue of N and catch some rays (if even in your imagination) on Oregon's Gem, Sauvie Island, or stick your toes in the virtual sand as you read all about Toronto's Urban Jewel, Hanlan's Beach.

Plus much more to get you in a naked state of mind.

Weather you are an armchair, activist, or in home nudist you'll want to read this issue! You're just a few clicks away from enjoying this remarkable issue!

Catching up with Nicky - TNS owner, N magazine editor and publisher.

Catching up with Nicky Hoffman LeeMark Twain once said, “ Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

“That being said, there is still time to make plans to attend one of the gatherings or festivals featured on the Naturist Tour 2014? Whether traveling by car, motor home, plane or train, there is something going on all summer from coast-to-coast.

The Eastern Naturist Gathering will begin on June 16 and run through the 22. We’re still working on the schedule of events; so keep watching the web site. We’re adding new things all the time.

Onward to Nude Recreation Week—July 7-13. Visit your local beach; attend an event with you local group or travel to the closest resort.

The Naturist Society Youth Camp at Sunsport Gardens begins on July 13 – register soon. The Northeast Naturist Festival, Canadian Naturist Festival and Avalonfest from July 29 through August 15. Can’t make them all—pick one. You won’t be disappointed.

For you volleyball lovers out there, the Lee Baxandall Memorial Volleyball Tournament will take place from August 15-17 at Bare Oaks Park in Ontario Canada.

From there we’ll be winding up the season at Sun Meadow Resort in Worley, Idaho August 21-24. If you’ve never been to a Western Gathering or to Sun Meadow this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Your life is NOW—Seize the day. Join us for family • friendship * and lots of fun.

Don’t you want to be able to sit back someday and say, “As much fun as I've had on this little journey, I'm sure one day I'll look back on it and laugh?”

Naturist Society founder Lee Baxandall

Lee Baxandall Naturist Society Founder TNS founder Lee Baxandall's first skinny-dipping experiences were as a young Boy Scout camping in Twin Lakes Reservation in Wisconsin. After receiving his master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Baxandall moved to New York, where he became active writing, translating, and critiquing plays. He also applied his writing skills to producing books on the arts, psychology, and politics. His political activism at this time prepared him for his interest in naturism to come. Together We Can Grow Naturism

Commemorative Tile

"Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work." - Vince Lombardi

Did you know that when you become a member of The Naturist Society, shop the Skinny-Dipper, volunteer your time, or donate money to naturist causes you become a part of an inclusive and caring community that has been promoting and protecting naturism for more than 30 years?

Today, more of our beaches and public lands reserved for naturists is shrinking, making The Naturist Society's work more crucial than ever. We are not only battling to keep naturist ideals alive for future generations, but like you we are also fighting a downturn in the economy, and subsequently, membership dollars. We can't achieve our goals without the support of those that share in our passion for preserving what Lee Baxandall, and others before us have fought so hard for! With so much at stake, we hope you will consider supporting our work.

We are proud of the work we do, fighting for your right to enjoy nude recreation at beaches, resorts, hot springs and public lands, hosting naturist events on both coasts and publishing the first-class naturist magazine N but we can't do it alone. Won't you consider joining or renewing today so together we can continue to make strides in making naturism more main stream. Please MAIL, shop ONLINE, or call 800-886-7230 and become a member of our community!

If you are already a Naturist Society member please consider making a donation. Your support is appreciated and for every donation of $100 or more you will receive a Collectors Edition Commemorative Tile dedicated to Lee Baxandall. Each tile is numbered, seal coated, and hand crafted by naturist artist Joanne Sampey using "naked" white clay. Very limited quantities available!

Consider a Lifetime Membership

Become a Lifetime TNS memberThe Saguaro Cactus, survives in a barren, dry area due to the symbiotic relationship it shares with the creatures of the desert. Birds, bats, and insects flock to the pollen of this cactis' night blooming flowers, spreading the seeds that allow for new growth. In return the cacti provide shelter and nourishment. In this way naturists and The Naturist Society are similar. Without TNS, naturists would lose many beaches to government legislation…and without the support of naturists TNS will not grow and thrive. Won't you please consider becoming a lifetime member today and support the cause!

"It gives us a great feeling knowing that The Naturist Society is doing so much to protect our rights. The ongoing challenges naturists face are vast, but by joining with TNS and their history of remarkable accomplishments, we are proud to be a small part of the much needed solutions that The Naturist Society provides." -Claudette Richard and Jim Dickey, lifetime members since 1991.
