Leonard Lehrman and Helene Williams Present: Music, Naturism, and the Stage
Leonard Lehrman, former Assistant Chorus Master at The Metropolitan Opera and Founder of The Jewish Music Theater of Berlin, is the author of the newly published CONTINUATOR: The Autobiography of a Socially-Conscious, Cosmopolitan Composer. Over his career, he has composed more than 200 works for his wife, soprano Helene Williams, a Co-Founder of The Bronx Opera Company.
Together, they co-founded The Opera/Musical Theatre Special Interest Group of The Naturist Society with Lee Baxandall in 1989. They have both appeared extensively for N Magazine and performed around the world.
In this special presentation, Leonard and Helene will share their experiences with naturism and nudity on stage in France, the U.S., Canada, and Australia. They will also celebrate the 97th birthday of musical satirist Tom Lehrer.
